Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Karman Line AI, LLC (“we”, “us”), which runs Dozer Dispatch (the “Service”) at dozerdispatch.com and app.dozerdispatch.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
1. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding contract. You sign in with a Google account; keep it secure, because anyone who can sign in as you can use your Dozer Dispatch account. Tell us right away at dispatch@dozerdispatch.com if you think your account has been misused.
2. Plans and billing
- Price. The Service is billed per machine (a “channel”) per month, at the price shown on our website when you subscribe: currently US$29 per machine per month, or the founder rate of US$19 per machine per month for early-access accounts that were offered it.
- Included voice time. Each machine includes 120 minutes of session time per month, pooled across your account. Time beyond that is billed at the overage rate shown on our website (currently US$0.25 per minute). We don't cut off a session in the middle of a job; overage is billed afterwards.
- Free trial. New accounts get one 14-day free trial, with no card required. If you add a payment method before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically when it ends. If you don't, the subscription is canceled at the end of the trial and paid features stop until you subscribe. One trial per account and per business.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month and are charged to your payment method through Stripe until you cancel. The amount follows the number of machines on your account.
- Cancel any time from Account → Manage billing in the app. Your service continues until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't give refunds or credits for partial months, unused minutes, or unused machines. If we've billed you in error, we'll fix it.
- Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before a price change applies to you.
- Taxes. Prices don't include taxes; you pay any that apply.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it's resolved.
3. Your content
“Your content” means the manuals, photos, notes, logbook entries, messages and other material you put into the Service.
- You keep ownership of your content.
- You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide the Service to you (and to the shop members you invite), including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, such as indexing manual text for search and having photos read.
- You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, for example that you own or have purchased the manual and may use it this way. Don't upload material you don't have the right to use.
- Shared library. If you choose to submit a manual to the shared shop library, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to offer it to other users of the Service. We review submissions and may decline or remove any of them. You can ask us to withdraw a manual you submitted.
- We don't sell your content, and we don't use your manuals or job records to advertise to you.
4. The shop library and manuals from others
We offer a library of service manuals as reference material for your own machines. Those manuals belong to their publishers; we don't claim to own them, and you may use them only within the Service for maintaining and repairing equipment. Don't download them to redistribute or resell.
Copyright complaints. If you believe material in the Service infringes your copyright, email dispatch@dozerdispatch.com with: the work you claim is infringed; where it appears in the Service; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorized to act for the owner, with your signature. We'll review it promptly and remove or disable material where appropriate, and we'll end the accounts of repeat infringers.
5. Acceptable use
Don't:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, with the Service;
- try to get into accounts, data or systems you're not authorized to access, or probe, scan or overload the Service;
- copy, scrape or resell the Service, the shop library or the assistant's answers in bulk, or use them to build a competing product;
- share one subscription across businesses, or create accounts to get repeated free trials;
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing or that you have no right to share;
- try to make the assistant do something unsafe or harmful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
6. The assistant and its answers
The Service uses artificial intelligence to understand your questions, search your manuals, read photos and draft answers. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Answers, citations, photo findings, part names and store links are aids, not guarantees. Store links go to third-party sites we don't control, and we're not responsible for their products, prices or availability. The Service needs an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable.
6a. Text messages
If you get texts from us (an invite you asked for, or a reply to a request you made), our SMS Terms apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help; message and data rates may apply. If you use "Text invite", enter only the number of someone who has agreed to get the invite by text.
7. Changes to the Service
We keep improving the Service and may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that substantially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before it applies to you.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you don't pay, or if we stop offering the Service (in which case we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to get copies of your job records). Sections 3 (licenses already given for the shared library), 9, 10, 11 and 12 survive the end of your account.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service, any manual or any answer will be accurate, complete, current or error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, downtime, or damage to equipment or property, arising from or related to the Service or any repair, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
11. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your misuse of the Service, or work performed on equipment, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, as far as the law allows.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be decided exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
13. General
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If we update these terms we'll change the date above, and for material changes we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the update. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
